LED, incandescent or gas emission: every car has its light bulbs, but they are all thought out with UN-ECE regulations in mind, this ensures replacement according to the required standard.
For your safety and for the on coming traffic, always ask for our original light bulbs: a guarantee in terms of quality and duration!
Halogen is a special kind of incandescent lighting: the bulbs contain different kinds of gas that offer superior lighting efficiency and raise the colour temperature. Our original halogen lights ensure correct filament position with respect to the base: this way you ensure your car better quality and longer-lasting equipment, while improving your driving visibility and the other road users.
If you drive often at night or you have to manually turn on your car lights even in daytime, you’ll find you’re replacing your light bulbs often. This is why Long Life halogen lights are more widespread: their main advantage is in their duration, up to twice as long as standard bulbs.
Compared to a traditional light bulb, a LED lights up 200 times faster. Ever since they started being used prevalently in cars for rear lighting, LED bulbs reduce the braking distance of the cars behind you by 6 meters when they are going on average 120 km/h because they signal the drivers behind you 200 times faster.
They have all the useful exterior lighting bulbs in case you need to replace them in an emergency. The light bulbs in the kit are original products, the same quality as those originally installed in your car. They do not contain gas emission bulbs. These must be replaced at an authorised Alfa Romeo Dealership directly.
Always make sure that each light bulb is replaced with the same kind and wattage. How can you know which one is the right one? Just ask for it by name! A technical name, identifying its category is in fact printed on the bulbs and lets you change them according to precise voltage, wattage, light flow, duration and type of base parameters.
When the weather is cold or damp, condensation drops can form on the inside surface of the headlights or rear lights. This is a natural occurrence, it does not indicate a defect and does not normally compromise your lights’ ability to function: to get rid of the misting, just turn on your lights. Obligatory since 7 February 2011 by law, lights turned on during daytime speed up reaction times, they let you better estimate the distance between your car and others and correctly point out the difference between cars that are moving and those that aren’t. DRL (Daytime Running Lights) are in fact front lights whose function is to light up the road and make things around you more visible while you’re driving.
Halogen lights have to be handled by touching the metal parts only. If the transparent bulb comes into contact with your finger, the light that shines is less intense and the bulb will not last as long. In case of accidental contact, you can remedy the problem by rubbing the bulb with a cloth dampened by alcohol and left to dry.
