Start & Stop

When driving around town, the Alfa MiTo benefits from the Start & Stop device, which is combined with all the MultiAir engines and some turbo engines. This device is permanently active, but can be turned off by the driver. It automatically stops and starts the car when at a standstill in town traffic to reduce fuel consumption, harmful emissions and sound pollution.
