Following the success of the previous editions, which have seen world music stars performing, such as BB King, Alanis Morissette, Kasabian, The Stone Roses, The Beach Boys, Georgia, and Jack's Mannequin and Wiz Khalifa, attended by over 62,000 people, and 200 accredited media, for the third year the music festival ALFA ROMEO CITY SOUND returns in Milan. A third edition even more ambitious and eclectic, which will double the number of concerts, becoming a reference point on the maps of the major European festivals.
From June 10 to July 30 there will be multiple best events for 2014, where will alternate artists of Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, Blues, Jazz and Electronic. The festival will be set up, like last year, in a dedicated area of 34,000 square meters inside the San Siro Hippodrome: the area of the venue and the entrances to the public of Via Diomede (Piazzale Lotto) will be the same as the first edition and the event does not preclude in any way the activities planned inside the Hippodrome.
The scenario of the Hippodrome, a national interest monument, built in the '20s on a design by architect Paolo Vietti Violi and renovated in 1975, reaffirm, after its debut last year, that the area is ideal for ALFA ROMEO CITY SOUND, which promises to be one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer.
Big news this season is partnering with two actors who revolutionized the use of music in recent years: YouTube and Spotify, which thanks to the agreement signed with City Sound, will give birth to the channel and the official profile of the festival on both platforms. The citysoundmilano YouTube channel will allow fans access to exclusive content and live streaming of the performances of the artists in the calendar. The channel certificate of Spotify, allow all users to listen to the playlist with the songs performed by artists and unpublished playlist created ad hoc for ALFA ROMEO CITY SOUND.
