The Alfa MiTo launched in July 2009  with a T-Jet 114Kw 1.4 turbo engine.  This engine continues in the Distinctive model.

2010 sees the launch of the revolutionary MultiAir technology debuting on two new derivatives added to the range.

The first being the 100Kw Progression MiTo , and the flagship 125Kw Quadrifoglio Verde.

This new MultiAir technology was developed and is produced by FPT – Fiat Powertrain Technologies, the Fiat Group sector that is responsible for all the activities necessary for innovation, research, design and production of engines and gearboxes for every type of application.
